I worked for over 8 years in the luxury domain, managing translation and localisation projects, while also guaranteeing quality. I became interested in UX as a lot of the problems I was having to fix originated in poorly designed source text and I wanted more impact on the content.

I love detective stories, long walks and podcasts.
How I got started in user experience
I worked for more than 8 years in translating and localisation for luxury clients. I loved the varied nature of the work, but I wanted a new challenge and grew a bit frustrated with project management.
I discovered UX while researching best practices for button naming. I often had the classic debate with clients about the differences between purchase and buy. To me, it seemed increasingly illogical to finish a translation that was more about the brand than about the user.

I studied with the UX Content Collective on the Fundamentals of UX Writing course and I absolutely loved it.

I received my certification in April 2022.
